The academic year 2019 - 20 was indeed a historic year, a year of joy, pride and pleasure for all the members of Santhi House. It was a year of all round excellence for our house The wonderful and blissful year began with the crowning of ourdiligent team. Master Johan C Jacob (XI B) and Kumari Punya Vilendran (XIC) were selected as the House Captains. Master Archith Ninan(IX C) and Aleena Maria Jacob (XI C) were selected as the Vice Captains along with Robiya Renji (XI A), Adeena Joe (XI A) ,

Nicole Tessa Joice (IX A) , Anwitha A (IXA) ,KeerthanaGopakumar (IX B) and Acsah Mary Philips (IX C) as our prefects . We had an enthusiastic group of leaders along with Mrs.JoiceyAmbadan as our House Mentor, Mrs. Nidhi Ann Thomas and Mrs.SitharaRaveendranas our House Master and Asst.House Master. We were all happy to have Blessan Mathews Georgye (XII B) and Hanna Alias (XII A) our Head Boy and Head Girl with us too .

As the proverb “ Well began is half done”, bagging the literary trophy marked the first step to our success . Our talented members displayed their skills in the various categories. After that came Onam with vibrant colors and lots of fun . We bagged the first prize for floral carpet, saladmaking ,fresh flower arrangement and poster making .We were bestowed with the 1st position for onam celebration securing first prize for all items

Our team bagged the second position for cinematic dance, flash mob and make an ad. competitions and the third position for Nadanpattu.

We celebrated the most popular festival of Kerala, Onam, by securing the second position for floral carpet, fresh flower arrangement and poster making.

Our members proved that they are no less in fighting valiantly with words while participating in the debate competitions and securing many prizes. The Children’s Day celebration was made a grand success by Sahayog house members participating in the fancy dress competitions. The one act play “King Lear” staged by our house bagged the first position and Ankur Kumar (XI B) was crowned the best actor.

Then came the cross country in which our students participated with full energy which was followed by the debate competitions. Our members participated with zest and zeal and secured 2nd position for cross country.Next came the much awaited annual sports meet. Our blue army led from the front fighting with strength and determination. Our champions were on the ground proving that we were strong by securing 1stposition for tug of war. We got 2ndposition for March past and also emerged with 2ndposition for sports and games.

On 14th November Childrens day was celebrated and we had the fancy dress and one act play competitions. We secured 2ndposition for one act play “MACBETH “ and our Captain PunyaVilendran was selected as the best actress .

Then came the annual day with lot of expectations and suspense. The champion of our house was Punya Vilendran (XI C). Amilyn and PunyaVilendran were the literary champions of their respective categories and PunyaVilendran bagged theever rolling trophy for school literary champion. The beads of hard work changed into diamonds when we were awarded with the Literary Trophy, Arts Trophy, Best House in Cricket, Bulletin Board Trophy and Best Disciplined House Trophy. It was a breathless moment when we were declared as the OVERALL CHAMPION HOUSE marking the come back of Santhi House after several years.

All these achievements of Santhi house were achieved only because of the encouragement from our teachers and the genuine efforts put in by our house mates. I also thank other houses for their co-operation and sportsman spirit for healthy competitions. I Expres my sincere gratitude to God Almighty for showering his blessings on us this year. I hope Santhi house will continue this in the years to come.
