Faculty Improvement

The school takes pride in imparting training facilities to its teachers for self improvement and to be aware of the latest developments in curriculum and evaluation techniques.

An five –day ‘Orientation Programme’ was chalked out to update and enlighten the teachers from 27th May to 31st May 2019 before the start of the current academic session.
  • The first day of the orientation programme started with the prayer song. Then the “Capacity Building Programme on Classroom management” organized by CBSE was conducted for all teachers. The resource persons were Mr.Balagopal and Mrs.Seema. They explained in detail about components of class room management and creating lesson plans.

  • The second day of the orientation programme continued with the CBP by the same resource persons. They explained about ‘Art Integration’ which CBSE has introduced from the current academic year.

  • Day three started with the Principal Mrs. VanajaHarikumar, addressing the teachers. She stressed the need to have confidence, to do your best, and love what you do. She read out the various duties for each teacher in the current academice year. Later, the subject in charges held various subject level meeting to chart out the year plans.

  • The fourth day started with the Principal introducing the motto for the academic year 2019-20 “Knowing is not enough, we must apply, wishing is not enough, we must do, and let us be accountable for what we do”. Later representatives from the new smart board panel, gave a workshop on how to use the new panels

  • The fifth day of orientation had a spiritual touch with our new manager Very Rev. Dr C A Varghese, conducting the communion service at the school chapel. Our manager introduced the theme “Growing together,”. Represenatatives from the school management also met the teachers and discussed about their vision for the new year
